A: The supervisor’s role and responsibility in supporting independence/empowerment in students with disabilities (part I)

Synopsis: The basis for good coaching or counseling skills lies in the depth of listening and presence.
Making the distinction between being supportive and being challenging/empowering in counseling contexts can provide the most impact for empowering disabled students. This workshop will focus on understanding and cultivating this depth of listening.
